BANANA BREAD

Ingredients
MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
½ tin (200 g)
Maida
2 cups (160g)
Salt
A pinch
Baking Powder
2 tsp. (6g)
Ripe Bananas
3 (250g)
Sugar
1 cup (150 g)
Eggs
3 (165g)
Oil
½ cup (75 ml)
Raisins
½ cup (50g)
Walnuts
½ cup (50g)
Method
1.  Preheat oven to 180° C.
2.  Grease a bread mould of 11” by 4-1/2” or any other mould of equivalent size.
3.  Sift maida, salt and baking powder together.
4.  Mash bananas, mix in sugar. Beat in the eggs one by one. Mix in the oil.
5.  Mix MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk into the above mixture, whisking it continuously.
6.  Dust the raisins and walnuts with 1 tsp. of maida.
7.  Fold the rest of sifted maida into the batter. Fold the nuts gently into the banana mixture.
8.  Pour the mixture into the mould and bake at 180° C for 45 minutes – 1 hour or till the toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
9.  Remove from oven. Unmould after cooling for 5-10mins, slice and serve.
Tips
